When not toiling in his underground lair, Matthew M. Volk is an active Philadelphia native, regularly busying himself around the local art scene.

As a graduate of University of the Arts in Industrial Design, his career has included work in Philadelphia's Fringe Art community, performance art, marketing, and a myriad of personal hobbies. When he moved on from his blue collar life at Amuneal Manufacturing doing custom finishes for fancy retail establishments, he took his savings and invested in a laser so that he could fulfill his childhood mad-scientist fantasy and make art using light. Now we lives the dream, experimenting with new artistic avenues previously unexplored with the medium.
